Company History

Star Web Innovations Ltd was founded in September 1999 by Alex Mead and Greg Moore. Both have backgrounds in various areas of computing from programming and networking skills, interests in graphic design and ultimately web design. 

After completing a small number of projects individually, they decided to combine their skills and founded Star Web Innovations Ltd.(SWI).

The vision

SWI saw a niche market, the small to medium enterprise, wishing to make their presence on the world wide web. SWI realised that small companies didn't have the funds to pay the large fees required by graphic design and software houses to produce their sites, and developed a strategy that could bring affordable solutions and put their clients online.

SWI continue to go from strength to strength, and have produced a number of websites, intranet sites and bespoke applications for various clients in the UK.
